- I have loved fast cars and fast bikes since before I had a drivers liscense and always will. Did not grow up with horses, never had any interest and dad told my sister that "the only thing dumber than a horse was the man who would own him" when she wanted one. In 1974 we bought our daughter a pony and I discovered dad didn't know everything. Life has not been the same since. Horses have been the focus of my life ever since. This blog will be about my experiences and observations as a trainer, 4H leader, breeder and recreational rider over the years.
Mid-July and just read this. I hope you are beginning to feel less raw by now. Having lost two special horses in the last ten years, it takes a very long time to heal.
